How to Break 80 Review #2

DISCOVER WHAT THEY ARE NOW SAYING ABOUT ‘HOW TO BREAK 80’

The first review I wrote about ‘How to Break 80 and Shoot Like the Pros’ was over two years ago. Now, that can be a long time in the internet world and so I am wondering if this golf instruction guide written by Jack Moorehouse is still as popular as it was then.

I spent many days searching the internet to see how the up-to-date answers compared to the results in the first article that I wrote titled ‘How to Break 80 Review–What Are Others Saying About How to Break 80?’

You will see that I took the same basic questions asked in the How to Break 80 Review #1, listed them first, and then reported the information that I discovered.

So, let’s see what the results are and what the verdict is:
Has ‘How to Break 80 and Shoot Like the Pros’ stood the test of time?

1. Is he still helping hundreds of people? Is this really your personal guide to lower scores? Is this really a complete guide to shooting your best scores ever, whatever your handicap?

Well, it looks like over the last couple of years, Jack has continued helping lower golf scores and has now helped “over 100,000 golfers all over the world play better regardless of their skill.”

On his website, there are testimonials from people from all walks of life, from all age groups, from varied handicaps, and from all over the world.

It would appear that the techniques in the ‘How to Break 80 Program’ are still working for many who want to improve their golf game. If a golfer wants to break 80, 90, or 100 it does not matter, as long as he or she wants lower scores. Now, let’s not be naive, there is not a program in the world that makes everyone happy, but it looks like there are a multitude of happy campers here.

2. If you are a golfer, ‘How to Break 80’ sounds good, doesn’t it! But…do his promises come from a credible place? Is he only blowing his own horn or do others agree?

I rechecked the web to see if Mr. Moorehouse was still as visible a presence as before. I found that he is continually adding golf articles to the article directories. On Ezinearticles.com alone, he now has 250 articles about all aspects of the game and is considered a Platinum Quality Author. This constant visibility equates to being very good for players–he continues to give free access to credible tips and golf information galore.

His free newsletter is still an excellent publication; I receive it regularly. In it he provides top rate golf information and answers questions that the real players have, not just something he pulls out of the air. It goes out to thousands of golfers spanning seven continents.

Other than his ‘How to Break 80 Program’, he has expanded to add the accelerated golf program membership called the ‘Fast Track Program’.

Jack Moorehouse now offers special lessons through his video series. These videos cover different aspects of the game: from improving you distance, drawing and slicing the ball, to precision putting.

So, even though he is a not golf pro, but rather an ordinary working man like the rest of us, he continues to maintain his love for the game and his commitment to helping others achieve their goals. It looks like he has captured the attention of thousands of golfers worldwide.

Do Golf and Manure Have Something in Common?

Thursday, June 11th, 2009

Hope you are having a great year on the golf course!
I came across this interesting story today about a golf term and wanted to share it with you.
Hope it puts a smile on your face!
——————————————————————————————–
MANURE……….AN INTERESTING FACT

In the 16th and 17th centuries, everything had to be transported by ship. It was before the invention of commercial fertilizers, so large shipments of manure were common.

Manure was shipped dry, because in dry form it weighed a lot less than when wet.
But once water (at sea) hit it, it not only became heavier, but the process of fermentation began again, of which a by product is methane gas. As the stuff was stored below decks in bundles, you can see what could (and did) happen.

Methan began to build up below decks and the first time someone came below at night with a lantern,
BOOOOM!

Several ships were destroyed in this manner before it was determined just what was happening.

After that, the bundles of manure were always stamped with the term “Ship High In Transport” on them. This meant for the sailors to stow it high enough off the lower decks so that any water that came into the hold would not touch this volatile cargo and start the production of methane!

Thus evolved the term ‘S.H.I.T’ (Ship High In Transport), which came down through the centuries and is in use to this very day.

You probably did not know the true history of this word.

Neither did I.

I had always thought it was a golf term!

——————————————————————————————
I hate to be a ‘S.h.i.t disturber’, but remember this information is a work of fiction and is for your entertainment only!

Wishing you a great day on the golf course!

Break 80, 90 or 100 in 2009?

Friday, January 23rd, 2009

Fellow Golfers, how many times are you going to break 80, 90, or 100 in 2009?

Whichever category you are in: breaking 80, breaking 90, breaking 100, or even just improving your score, here is wishing you great success in 2009.

I just wanted to let you know that I ended 2008 with a 78 on December 19, 2008. I was able to make 4 birdies ( 2 2’s on par threes) resulting in 41 on the front 9 and a 37 on the back. It was nothing but exhilarating.

I want to thank Jack Moorehouse and the How to Break 80 Program for a great year on the golf course. I broke 80 many times and it was great to consistently shoot in the low 80’s

Now that I have had a taste of it, the new year has me wanting more and more of those scores in the 70’s. What about you?

January 16, 2009 was another break 80 day for me. I shot 39/39 for a 78.

So, I am off to good start, how about you?

Again, whichever category you are in: breaking 80, breaking 90, breaking 100, or even just improving your score, here is wishing you great success in 2009.

How to Break 80 Review 1: Part 2

If you missed the first part of this review just click on the Category on left side that says How to Break 80 Review 1. Here’s wishing you a Super day!

Hours of searching the web found dozens of credible golf sites recommending How to Break 80. The responses and reviews are positive. They like the realistic approach and going back to the basics of golf. They are enthusiastic about the easy to use drills and strategies to immediately improve your golf skills. They are impressed that How to Break 80 implemented tons of illustrations and pictures. This is great for those of us who are visual learners! Some recommend it as a great gift for yourself and other valued golfing friends. They comment that there is something for everyone, whatever your handicap. They say it is a super book, written in an easy to understand manner.

It looks like these websites are pleased and are standing behind what How to Break 80 has to offer.

But…were there any numbers to back up these reviews?

From my research I only found a handful of reviews giving numerical ratings for How to Break 80. These numbers were based on main features, proven techniques, qualities, and effectiveness. Here are the ratings I found–based out of 10: 9.5, 9.4, 8, 8, and 8. These average out to a high rating of 8.58. Like Abraham Lincoln once said, “You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.”

From these numbers I would say that How to Break 80 has pleased these people.

But…were there any testimonials about the effectiveness of this golf instructional guide?

Check back later for the last part of this first review.
